Britt N Albrecht is a writer and illustrator whose work traces the liminal spaces where fantasy, folklore, and personal memory converge. Rooted in a lifelong fascination with fairytales, she explores themes of transformation, longing, and the tender tension between presence and absence. Her practice spans both digital and traditional media—including printmaking and embroidery—with each chosen for the textures and storytelling possibilities it unlocks.
Britt refined her illustration practice at Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, OR, and now resides in Los Angeles, CA, where the coastline feeds her fascination with what could lie hidden just beneath the shifting horizon.
